Approach:

A series of sessions based around the ‘single story’- perceptions that children often have of a particular place, in this instance Africa. The stimuli ranged from watching DVD’s of the different lifestyles of children in Africa, a video interview with our cleaner Bridget from the Cote d’Ivoire, to map work, discussions, looking at photographic evidence and objects and supporting fundraising for the charity Thrive Africa.
